Second Announcement
We are happy to inform you that a great number of scholars in Latin linguistics have preregistered for the upcoming Colloquium.
Most have indicated that they want to present a paper. Please remember
that:
- the deadline to send the abstract of your paper (or poster) is
November 1st, 2002.
- the conference will be held in English, French, German, Spanish,
and Italian. The abstract should be written in the same language you
use in your oral presentation.
- papers will take 25 minutes (including discussion). Abstracts should
be one page only (no longer than 300 words).
- lodging.
Enclosed you find an official Hotel Reservation Form for booking a hotel in Bologna. The organizing agency is Emilia Viaggi. They have made a provisional pre-reservation at hotels in various price classes. it is absolutely necessary that you make your reservation through them (and not through us). Booking can be done through the Hotel Reservation Form enclosed, or by making contact by fax with:

Besides the hotels, there are 30 rooms available in the Foresteria of the University of Bologna, which are less expensive but comfortable (please take note that you cannot have breakfast there). If you choose the Foresteria, please reserve a room through the Agency as soon as possible, because the number of rooms is limited. The term indicated by the Agency for hotel reservation is absolutely within March 15th. Later reservations cannot be accepted by the Agency. Take note that it is extremely difficult to find a place in the hotels in Bologna, so it would be better to make the hotel reservation already in November or December 2002. Please, fill the hotel reservation form and send it to the Agency (e-mail: evincoming@emiliaviaggi.it) and not to us.
